Movie
Things have been pretty hectic lately. In addition to a new job (full time embroidery) and working on my craft (Eleanor Magpie jewellery can now be purchased in The Finds in Huntsville) I've been preparing for a three week stint on a movie set starting this Sunday.
My work will be in the wardrobe department, assisting the costume designer with fitting, shopping, dressing, continuity and probably whatever else needs to be done. I've acted and participated in productions quite often over my life, but I've never been on a movie set, so I'll be counting on my smarts and my ability to learn quickly to get me through. I've been brushing up on my basic sewing skills too.....hopefully the practice pays off!
Shooting takes place in Burk's Falls, so I should be familiar with some of the people and places I'll see in the movie when it's all finished. The script made me laugh out loud a few times, so I have high hopes for it to come out well. I'm even familiar with a few of the actors in the movie, so that'll be pretty neat too. I'm getting pretty excited.
